X26 Thermal Rifle Scope

The X26 is a dedicated thermal rifle scope that can be used on any rifle with a rail mount. The X26 is a rugged systems built to survive the rigors of law enforcement and military usage while still being affordable enough for commercial and private usage. The system is built around a high resolution 320×240 microbolometer thermal sensor to give you crisp thermal images in a wide variety of ambient conditions. The optics on the X26 are made form the finest quality germanium crystal with a Field Of View (FOV) of 12 x 9 degrees to enable detection ranges in excess of 1km. Because the scope is based on thermal imaging technology and not I2 (image intensified night vision) you can use the X26 in bright daylight or total darkness. The X26 does not see visible light so it is completely unaffected by any ambient light source. This is the ultimate in night vision technology for law enforcement and hunting applications.

The X26 Thermal Scope has all the features you would expect from a high end thermal weapon sight plus a few surprises. The system utilizes a very user friendly on screen menu system to control all the advanced features that the X26 gives you. You can easily select between black hot and white hot polarity. This technology flips the image palette so that hotter objects are either colored in black or colored in white. This can be very useful for discriminating targets in varying conditions. As a general rule black hot is very good for seeing the surrounding areas in a situational awareness mode while white hot is better for picking out targets within a cluttered background. Through the menu system you can also select multiple calibrated reticles to fit your weapon and shooting style. Settings can be saved to memory and there is even a favorites key to quickly recall your most used settings. Finally, you can activate the advanced algorithm digital zoom technology to really bring distant targets in close.

The x26 thermal sight expands your capabilities with external power port so that you can power the scope from external 12VDC power sources like a vehicle. This is great for long duration missions. The scope also has a standard video output port that you can display on a large screen or connect to the SPI XDVR thermal video recorder for in field documentation.

The X26 can satisfy the needs of the most demanding consumers while still being easy on the budget. Call us today to discuss your options.
